Succeeding the great success of previous White Run Star Hike, Converse is once again teaming up with JW Anderson to deliver another distinctive colorway paired with a new model of the signature Grid ‘70s.
While the silhouette is similar to the previous model, the new Run Star Hike swaps the original white upper for the black canvas with white contrast stitching and a tonal pull tab. While the prominent chunky EVA midsole remains intact, the rear grippy outsole is black pairing with the consistent beige gum at front. Converse branding in the medial side with minute “1917” branding — a nod to the original Converse design —also returns to the latest style. Pairing up with the drop, the classic JW Anderson Grid ‘70s takes on a new look. The signature branded white print is juxtaposed against an asymmetric American flag pattern, with the left shoe offering white-on-blue stars and the right sneaker featuring red and white stripes.
